MEMORIAL SERVICES FOR WW II VETERAN

Gerry Flowers Memorial Service and Celebration of Life

Ninety-two year old Gerald W Flower, Father, WW II Veteran, POW survivor and life long member of the Royal Canadian Legion passed away on January 27th, 2017. Gerry was a recent recipient of a Minister of Veterans Affairs Certificate and Medal of Commendation presented by The Honourable Kent Hehr, MP, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence.

A Memorial Service will be held by family members for Gerry on Friday, March 10th, 2017, 11:00 AM at St John’s Shaughnessy Anglican Church, located at 1490 Nanton Avenue, Vancouver, BC with refreshments to follow in the Trendell Lounge.

A second Memorial Service will also be held on Saturday March 11th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Grandview – Collingwood Branch #179 located at 2205 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, BC with Gerry’s family in attendance. For all those that knew Gerry please join us and celebrate his Life and Achievements.
